| The best route between The Bristol Trainstation and Ryder Church involves crossing a new bridge (Anderson Street Memorial Bridge) that will not yet be shown on most maps. You can also turn left on State Street, and right on Pennsylvania but there are occassionally trains that stop traffic using that route.

Start: The Bristol Trainstation - 101 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Bristol VA (Note: Many maps use the old street designation: Randall Sreet Expressway)
1. From Trainstation parking lot, Turn left on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd./US-421 and travel 0.1 miles toward State Street.
2. Cross State Street, entering Tennessee, remain on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and travel 0.2 miles to the second traffic light.
3. Turn Left on Anderson Street and cross Anderson Street Memorial Bridge. Stay in Right lane. Continue to follow TN-34/US-421 with curve to the right onto Pennsylvania Avenue.
4. After 0.2 miles, turn with sharp curve to the left at Maple St/TN-34/US-421
5. Turn right on Virginia Ave. and continue to follow US-421 South for for 3.7 miles, leaving the city of Bristol.
6. Turn right at Hickory Tree Rd /TN-44 South (just after Pach Mart on the right) and travel 2.0 miles.
7. Turn right at Hickory Tree Rd/TN-44 and travel 2.7 miles.
8. Just past Hickory Tree Volunteer Fire Dept., turn left at Ryder Church Rd and travel 1.9 miles to the church.
